Understanding how to bear fruits for Gods kingdom,is the way to lay up treasures in heaven.
Fruit bearing is the reason we are here on earth .Similarly, it is the only way we can attract people to want to know more of Christ.
Understanding how to bear fruits is very important.
Unfortunatelly,it is not a very clear topic.
Early in my christian life,I thought it was all about exibiting the fruits of the spirit.
As illustrated in Galatians 5vs 22-23.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
But the more I read the bible,the more I think it is much more than that.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BEAR FRUITS FOR GODS KINGDOM?
I see the fruit of the Spirit as Christ character overiding our natural human character.
On the other hand,to bear fruit for Gods kingdom,involves some level of action.
Actions carried out according to the fruits of the spirit.
You may be getting a little confused now.But dont worry you will understand as you read on.Most verses in the bible about fruit bearing,involves seeds and trees.
For instance,the parable of the sower, illustrates the word of God as a seed.And the ability to bear fruit for Gods kingdom relates to the way the seed is received.
Similarly,the parable of the mustard seed talks about the ability to bring out what is already inside the mustard seed.
To bear fruit for Gods Kingdom means to work to bring out what is already insde of you to Gods glory.
HOW DO YOU BEAR FRUITS FOR GODS KINGDOM?
To bear fruit for Gods kingdom,is to first abide in God.
John 15vs 5-8 states: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
In the bible,Christ is the vine.We are the branches.
And as branches,we need to remain attached to the tree.This will help us develop the fruits of the spirit.
Secondly,discover your seed.I see seeds as talents and abilities God places in each of us.
And to bear fruits for Gods kingdom,we need to be fruitful in our area of gifting.

The sumary of the parable of the talents simple means this:
God gives us talents(seeds)and expects us to use it to produce results(fruits)that will populate his kingdom.
WHY SHOULD WE BEAR FRUITS FOR GODS KINGDOM?
look at the book of John 15 again ,particularly verses 7.
It says 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8
If you abide in Christ,and you bear fruits for Gods kingdom,then you can be sure of prayers being answered.
This is one of the secrets of getting quick ansers to prayer that people do not know.

In order words,if you refuse to bear fruits for Gods kingdom,God sees you as wicked and lazy. There are a lot of bible verses about the wicked.
And most wicked deeds attracted Gods judgment.
An example of judgement is Mathew 25 parable of the talents .
28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
When we do not bear fruit for Gods kingdom,the Lord takes the seed or talent from us.And sees such a person as a worthless servant that should be cast into outer darkness.

Dear father,so many of us do not know how to bear fruits.
Some do not even know where to start.But your word says that we should call on the Holy Spirit and He will show us secret things that we do not know.
Dear Holy Spirit ,show us how to use Gods seed insside of us to bear fruit for the kingdom of God.
Help us to spend our time to seek after the kingdom.And stop running after other things that you said will be added to us.
We ask this through Christ our lord.

To bear fruits for Gods kingdom shows how much of God you have in you.It is one of those activities that comes with a blessing when you do it.
And negative consequences when you dont.
