IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE GOD OWE ME SOMETHING?
Did you know that you can lend to God by carrying out a particular action ?sounds quite strange doesnt it?.
If you are a frequent bible reader,you will realize that most times we go through many scriptures many times and nothing really happens.
Then suddenly a particular scripture will catch your attention and so many meanings will jump out from that singular scripture.
That is what happened to me today .I actually discovered that it is possible for God to be indebted to you when you do a particular thing.
HOW DO I MAKE GOD OWE ME SOMETHING
I am positive that most of us have seen the scripture I want to show you today.
Proverbs 19 vs 17 says “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward them for what they have done”.
When you give money or any other service to somebody in need of it,automatically makes God indebted to you.
Especially if the person is poor and has no way of paying you back.
HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN YOU OWE SOMEBODY SOMETHING?
Can you remember the last time you owed somebody or the bank some money?How did you feel?
where you very comfortable as a borrower,or did you try your possible best to payback what you owed.If you had borrowed the money from an individual,how will you feel when ever you see the person?
Obviously what will be in your mind is how you can pay back to the person what you owe!

HOW DOES GOD FEEL WHEN WE GIVE TO THE POOR?
If I being human could feel so uncomfortable when I owe someone,how much more God the creator of the universe.
A God that is a faithful God that can never fail when it comes to His written word. Dont you think that He will quickly pay you back much more than what you gave to the poor?
There are many scriptures that explain clearly how God feels when we give to the poor.
Proverbs 22:9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed,for he shares his bread with the poor.
Psalm 41 vs 1-3 “Oh the joys of those who are kind to the poor!The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble.The LORD protects them and keeps them a life.He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies.The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health”. I particularly love Proverbs 28 vs 27 Whoever gives to the poor will LARK NOTHING.But those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.The next question then is:

This question is very vital.Especially in todays world.A lot of people today can pretend to be poor just to get something from you.
Some are just lazy and do not want to work!Especially in the body of Christ.
which is quite sad.Because of these factors, it is really important to ensure that you are giving to somebody that is really in need.
The only sure way to know the real needy person is to ask GOD himself every time you pray,to position you to be found by those that really need your help.
This has worked so wonderfully well for me in the past few years .You will be amazed at how God can connect you with somebody that needs what you have.
IS IT ONLY MONEY I CAN GIVE TO THE POOR?
Many people have this misconception that its is only money that we can give or lend to the poor.That however is not the case.
If you look at the scripture very well ,money is not mentioned.You can therefore give anything ranging from money to things and even your time and services.
But that not withstanding,lets talk about the most basic one which is money.
HOW CAN I ALWAYS HAVE TO GIVE TO THE POOR
The greatest challenge I used to have initially was not having enough money to give at the time somebody needed it.
That was until I came across a particular scripture and started practicing it.
Leviticus 23 vs 22 “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.’”
This simple means that when ever you have money,lay a little aside .Do not spend everything on yourself.
I have an envelop labelled for the poor in my closet.When ever I have money I just put a little thing inside that envelop.
This just ensures that I will always have something to give to the poor that needs help from me.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion,I will advise you to start praying a prayer that I pray to God every morning.It goes like this.
O GOD bring my way today somebody that has been asking you for ………..
I mention exactly what I have laid aside or the services I want to render.Do this and watch how God will organise such a person to come your way .When that happens ,just sit back and see how the LORD himself will repay you.
