without being led, we will go astray.In this blogpost I will be showing you How to allow the leading of the holyspirit in your life.
THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The holy Spirit in you,is like a cars navigator.Our life and our future is something that we really do not know.
If I am to ask you, Do you know what will happen to you next week?
90% of the time,your answer will be “No”
If you cannot even know this simple thing,how can you know the journey of your life?.
How can you know the pathways to take?.
Similarly,without the leading of the holy Spirit, we will just be wondering round the earth our entire life.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Isaiah 30 vs 21 says:
Your ability to hear the word behind you depends on two basic factors.
firstly, entering Gods rest.
Secondly,having the true knowledge of his ways.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLE ABOUT THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
If we look at the book of Luke 6vs 12 to 16.
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
The lord prayed the whole night. Before he made a very serious decision.
The decision was appointing people he was going to work with.
How many times do we go to God and pray before we make choices in our daily lives?.
For example,think back about the last decision you took.
Did you ask God?
Socondly,did you allow the leading of the holy Spirit in that decision?
DIFFERENT WAYS TO ALLOW THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
Young man or woman reading this today.If you want to get married, please ask for the leading of the holy spirit.
similarly.If you need to choose between two jobs,pleas ask for the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Try not to choose by sight!.
Remember the story of Lot.
Lot choose the area of land according to all the goodies he saw (Genesis 13 vs 5-13).
And that was the same sodom and Gomorrah that God eventually destroyed.
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT.
Do you know why the lord referes to us as sheep?
Because sheeps do not know how to make decisions.They only know how to follow the sheperd!
Allowing the leading of the holy Spirit,guides you along the path God has already ordained for you.
Another importance of being led by the spirit,is the peace you have even when challenges arise.
Lets get one thing straight here.
Being led by the spirit,does not stop challenges from comming your way.
for example Jesus was led by the spirit to be tempted by satan!
Finally the confidence you have to call on God when these challenges arise.
HOW TO KNOW THE HOLY SPIRIT IS LEADING YOU.
What are the signs ,the Hoy Spirit is talking to you and leading you.?
The number one sign of the leading of the holy spirit is an inner peace.Especially after you have taken that decision.Another sign I get that the holy Spirit is talking to me,is an external confirmation of what he said.
This could be from a scripture that jumps out when I am studying the bible.
Or similarly,from another christian brother or sister.
Finally when you have peace in the mist of a challenge after making the decision.
Then you will know that the holy Spirit is leading you in that decision.
PRAYER TO BE LEAD BY THE SPIRIT EVERY DAY:
O God,Help me to make the right choices today.In any little choice I want to make today, Holy Spirit ,guide me to make that choice.
Teach me OLord to always ask before I make any decision today.
In Jesus name I pray Amen.
CONCLUSION
Please my people of God,let us do first things first.Save your self from herperventillated prayer.And emergency casting and binding.
This you can do by bringing God into the choices that you make daily.
It must not be only on major choices .
Even everyday simple choices !for instance,choosing the right person to repair your Generator!
