Paul said in 2 corinthians 5vs 20
“ Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God“. Jesus had already commissioned us to go forth and make disciples of all men.
In this blog post,I will be talking about the benefits of being Christ Ambassador.
WHO IS AN AMBASSADOR?
An ambassador is a representative of a country.An Ambassador represents his country while living in another country.
Ambassadors are normally appointed representatives.An Ambassador only talks about the laws and position of the government of his country.He does not live according to his own laws .
Everything that has to do with the livelihood of an Ambassador is taken care of by his home country. He does not need to worry himself about anything.
That is why Christ told us not to worry about what to eat,drink or wear.
Instead we should concentrate on the job of showing people the path to the kingdom life.Then every other thing we need will be provided for us.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF AN AMBASSADOR

“The primary responsibility of an ambassador is to accurately represent and advocate for their home country’s goals while abroad.
In order to do this, they have to be thoroughly acquainted with their country’s and ruler’s policies.Also thoughts, which outcomes are favorable or unacceptable.
Similarly, we have to have a full, working knowledge of God’s plan.
What has brought us to this point in history, how He plans to accomplish His end goal, and what our role is and will be—
in order to be effective ambassadors for God and Christ on earth.”
Additionally,An Ambassador is fully responsible for the welfare of his fellow citizens living where he is appointed.
According to Phil.2 vs 4
‘Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others”
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST
Ambassadors are the highest-ranking representatives of their governments abroad, and their primary responsibility is to represent and work towards the best interests of their government or head of state.
The Bible calls us to live as an ambassador for Christ. … ambassador represents and communicates the desires and will of the head of state that sent him or her, so are we to represent and communicate the desires and will of Christ to others.
HOW CAN WE BECOME EFFECTIVE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST
According to “Stand to reason” To be an effective ambassador ,we have to possess certain attributes.The first attribute is Knowledge.To be able to be Christ Ambassadors, we must be acquainted with who God is.
His ways ,words and purposes. That is why we must create time to study Gods word.
We must also spend adequate time in quite communication with God.
The next attribute is WISDOM.
Even though knowledge is very important if we do not know how, when, and where to use this knowledge, then the knowledge is really not very important and is not useful .Wisdom, is the ability to use knowledge effectively and bring about a change .
knowledge and wisdom attributes has to do with talking .When it comes to character, it has to do with doing .
Just talking the talk does not make us effective ambassadors.
Unfortunately there are a lot of talkers today and less doers. Our life must reflect the fact that we are indeed ambassadors that sell Christ.
As Ambassadors our life has to show that we are representatives of Christ on Earth.
THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING CHRIST AMBASSADOR
The greatest advantage of being Christ ambassador is that ALL OUR NEEDS ARE TAKEN CARE OF BY HEAVEN.
That is why in Luke 9 vs 3 when Jesus sent the disciples out as Ambassadors, he said”Take nothing for the journey–no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt.“
And later he asked them in luke 22 vs 35″When I sent you out to preach the Good News and you did not have money, a traveler’s bag, or an extra pair of sandals, did you need anything?” “No,” they replied.
The question then is,How did they survive.?
The answer is that when we do the Ambassadorial job God sends us to do,
God in this instance,will definitely do the job of taking care of our needs.
The second advantage is that we have the host of the armies of heaven at our disposal.An ambassador has the full protection of heaven.Hebrews 1 vs 14 says “Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation”?
As Christ Ambassador,we have the authority to command angels to do Gods bidding.
IN CONCLUSION
An Ambassador of Christ is not a person.We ,as ambassadors are an embodiment of the kingdom of heaven.
An ambassador does not concern himself with bills.As soon as God appoints us to be his Ambassadors,He becomes fully responsible for our well being.
That is why Jesus said in matthew 6 vs 25-33
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
